I formed Lost Art Graphics in 1989 while creating sandblasted designs into glass... a 'lost art'.
Owning a business gave me the flexibility to be the best mother possible for our two sons while growing in my career.
Now I spend most of my time creating paintings in watercolor, oil and soft pastels.

I was an art teacher for pre-K - 8th grade kiddos for 12 years. My students inspired me to experiment and learn new things, becoming a better artist in the process. While head of the art department I led the school in making an Art Car for the Houston Art Car Parade.
Art Class Time is a podcast I created so anyone who wants to teach art to children can have access to free, prepared lessons.

Volunteering on the School Art Committee for the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo is extremely rewarding.
Each summer I also lead a children's art camp for Neighbors in Action, an outreach ministry to an underserved community in the Port of Houston are.
